this is done to avoid adding to libgimp, thanks to Mukund Sivaraman for

file-pdf-load: Use better API + cleanups
* fixes issues with poppler 0.17 completely
* uses new libgimp API to pass surfaces instead of pixbufs
* uses GTK+ 3 API to convert surfaces to pixbufs where available
